Richardson Mechanical, Inc. is currently hiring for a full-time HVAC Construction Manager to ensure quality HVAC construction projects are being built on time and within budget in the Richardson, TX area. This full-time project management position earns a generous annual salary depending on experience, plus bi-annual bonuses.

Our HVAC Construction Manager is essential to our success as a company as you help make sure construction projects go off without a hitch! Much of your day is spent working with the superintendent and foreman, keeping projects on schedule and within budget, and ensuring all equipment and materials are available and accessible. You coordinate project schedules with the master project schedule to ensure everything is current and correct. You also participate in targeted project meetings and perform detailed tracking of SOV job costs to compare to actual costs. Being highly organized means, you provide periodic status updates and end of contract cost and budget analysis, as well as verify accuracy by submitting monthly contract billings and assembling and reviewing estimates.

On top of providing exceptional project management, you pride yourself in your ability to manage conflicts well as you work with customers, vendors, trades, and/or partners toward positive project completion. You regularly identify and develop policies and procedures to ultimately affect our operations and improve production. You visit job sites or onsite offices to perform work inspections, check job progress, and resolve project or contract issues, and conduct pre-job planning meetings. You then use meeting results, and document all information, to ensure action items are appropriately completed.   • 3 or more years of experience with project management in mechanical construction
  • Bachelor's degree in construction sciences, mechanical engineering, or a similar engineering degree
  • Above average presentation skills
