Job Description


Accounting responsibilities that include, in part, general ledger, cash management, invoicing, payroll processing and financial statement preparation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Summarizes current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.            

Assists in month-end close process for all entities including balancing ledgers and sub-ledgers and preparation of monthly financial statements.

Administers Human Resources functions. Provides backup support to Payroll.

Reconciles and posts deposits as required, reconciles general ledger accounts, and assists in bank reconciliation on a weekly basis.

Adjusts errors and resolves cash discrepancies as required.

Manages Invoicing, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable for all entities.

Creates, maintains, and distributes periodic accounting and operational reports.

Creates ad hoc reports and analyses as required.

Performs any task required to support customer requirements and company goals.

Manages sales tax filing, payments, license renewal, 1099’s and other legal documentation processes.

Salary is DOE


Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Accounting and three or more years working experience.

Ability to write reports and business correspondence, effectively present information, and respond to questions from managers, employees, vendors, customers, auditors, and bank and governmental personnel.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.

Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Ability to apply fundamental accounting principles and be able to reconcile general ledger accounts.

Ability to use Microsoft Excel and Word, and integrated accounting software.

Experience with Quickbooks is a Must.

Sage or Great Plains experience is Desirable.


The employee is frequently required to utilize a keyboard for long periods of time

Experience with Sage or Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains ERP system is

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, ability to adjust focus, and ability to view a monitor for long periods of time.
