Current opening for a part-time executive assistant/office manager for a busy, small CPA tax and accounting firm in Yorktown, Virginia (Kiln Creek area). Position primarily provides administrative support to CPA-Owner including telephone coverage and screening phone calls and general administrative duties for the office.
This key position is the primary point of contact for the firm responsible for meeting, greeting clients and making and confirming appointments. Position involves extensive contact with clients—both in-person and by e-mail and telephone. This candidate must have a high attention to detail as well as a high degree of professionalism.
Business administration experience working in a tax, accounting, or legal office highly desirable.
Must have a positive and flexible attitude, be an independent self-starter (however must be willing/able to take direction as needed) and must have strong verbal, written and computer (Outlook/Word/Excel) skills. The ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, while exercising good judgment, courtesy and tact is essential.
Schedule: Part time January-May (20 hours a week).
Compensation: $20-$40/hour—plus bonus. Rate is negotiable and commensurate with experience and education.
