Education: The Plant Manager should have a four year college degree in a chemistry or engineering related discipline or business related discipline.
Experience: minimum of eight years manufacturing management experience supervising manufacturing employees with a knowledge of hazmat, ISO, distribution and safety programs.
Oversee and supervise the Manufacturing and Distribution departments
Provide for the timely manufacture and distribution of product against customer orders
Maintain average workdays to manufacture and ship all published catalog items
Maintain average workdays to manufacture and ship all custom manufactured items (RCC label)
Provide monthly responses to budget variance
Provide for utilization planning by weekly reporting of the average Work-in-Process
Perform physical inventories of raw materials, packaging components, and finished goods
Provide for an appropriate balance of inventory to meet performance and financial objectives
Implement plant safety programs and ensure compliance with GMP
Confirm that appropriate work instructions are developed and maintained and followed throughout the business
Ensure that all ISO quality systems are followed
Provide compliance to ISO quality systems (i.e. Corrective Action)
Oversee facilities and grounds maintenance
Manage and supervise employees, resolve problems, and make recommendations for staffing and interviewing candidates for employment.
Responsible for annual personnel reviews
