We are looking for a full time phlebotomist/medical technician/EMT to be a critical member of our health care team.
We help reverse chronic conditions by implementing an investigative and functional approach throughout our diagnosis process. This approach not only uncovers the root causes of a condition, but it helps direct our healing strategy. Responsibilities and Duties
Set up and administer IV infusion therapy including monitoring of patient, mixing IVs
Phlebotomy and processing of laboratory specimens, ranging from LabCorp and Quest to multiple specialty labs
Administering hyperbaric chamber and infrared sauna treatment
Conducting medical and diagnostic testing including, but not limited to, patient intake, vital signs, EKG, Inbody, Visual Contrast Sensitivity test, CNS Vital Signs, and qualitative EEG (Detailed training on how to do these tests and procedures will be provided)
Develop strong relationships with patients
Cross – cover on administrative and clinical tasks as appropriate including answering phones, check-in / check-out
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
5-10+ years of experience in ambulatory care with experience in providing optimal patient care
Certification as a paramedic, laboratory technician or equivalent
Certification as a medical assistant or similar skill set including phlebotomy
IV Certified preferred
Experience with handling specimens
Passionate about being healthy yourself and helping others achieve optimal health
Interest in integrative and functional medicine ideal
Experience in achieving behavior change ideal
Need to be a can-do person, high organization, committed to doing what it takes to assist patients in their journey to health
Ability to communicate and document both verbally and in writing
Able to understand and utilize an automated patient EMR system as well as other automated testing programs
Must be able to assist patients in and out of hyperbaric chamber which includes kneeling, bending, and holding patient weight as needed
