This position is responsible for completing payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and a knack for prioritizing and organizing workload. Must be accurate and reliable in handling accounts and documents. This position offers a competitive benefits package in a clean and safe work environment. • Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances. • Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries. • Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; verifying federal id numbers; scheduling and preparing checks; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; insuring credit is received for outstanding memos; issuing stop-payments purchase order amendments. • Processes employee expense reports on time. • Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions. • Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions. • Maintain an up-to-date billing system. • Generate and send out invoices. • Carry out billing and reporting activities according to specific deadlines. • Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities. • Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records. • Assist with month-end closing. • Assist with special projects as needed. Qualifications • High School diploma or GED.
Associates Degree or a related field preferred. • Relevant experience preferred. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Basic knowledge of accounting principles. • Strong attention to detail. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and to adjust priorities based on changing situations, • Proficient computer skills in relevant software systems, including Microsoft Suite. • Strong problem-solving skills and good judgment to make important recommendations to management. • Ability to work independently with limited supervision Revolution Company is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
