Reverb by Hard Rock Downtown Atlanta is currently searching for an exceptional Sales Manager.

Your Expertise Shapes Us

The Sales Manager is part of an important team that is responsible for proactively soliciting and handling sales opportunities. Under the leadership of the Director of Sales, this role actively up-sells each business opportunity to maximize revenue opportunity. Achieves personal and team related revenue goals. Other responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following

  • Executes exemplary customer service to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty by assisting the customer and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Identify and develop new accounts and ensure proper solicitation of business transient accounts
  • Preparing and presenting effective proposals
  • Turns business over properly and in a timely fashion
  • Creates an opportunity to grow the accounts base through customer interaction
  • Effectively maintain, monitor, and evaluate monthly productivity of existing accounts and ensure maximum potential achieved.
  • Plan & participate on sales trips and industry business transient related meetings and tradeshows
  • Identifies new business to achieve personal and property revenue goals.
  • Understands the overall market - competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and knows how to sell against them.
  • Closes the best opportunities for the property based on market conditions and property needs.
  • Gains understanding of the property’s primary target customer and service expectations; serves the customer by understanding their business, business issues and concerns, to offer better business solutions.
  • Partners with Operations in providing a customer experience that exceeds the customer’s expectations.

You Are

  • An experienced Sales Manager with 2+ years in a full-service hotel environment.
  • Able to develops relationships within community to strengthen and expand customer base for business/entertainment travel sales opportunities.
  • Can work collaboratively with Hard Rock Global sales to ensure sales efforts are coordinated, complementary and not duplicative.
  • Professionally executes exemplary customer service to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty by assisting the customer and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Well organized, detail oriented and ability to work independently.
  • Display initiative, perseverance and analytical skills.
  • Team player, professional and lead with integrity
  • Ability to read, write and speak English, with excellent grammar and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Engaged, authentic, and prepared to positively impact performance for a "best in class" hotel!
