Remote Web Content Writer - Weekend Only

With over 8 million members, VoucherCodes is one of the UK’s largest money saving websites. Partnered with big brands like ASOS, Nike, Argos, Expedia and Pizza Express, we receive over 8 million visits per month. Right now, we’re looking for an enthusiastic Web Content Writer to work as part of our Remote team on the weekends.

Your role will sit within the Remote team, helping to maintain our high standard of content for the users of VoucherCodes. As a Web Content Writer you’ll be responsible for adding offers to the website, auditing content and ensuring offers are of the highest quality.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a part-time job and who wants the flexibility of working from home combined with regular hours. You'll benefit from being part of a large and established remote team, with extensive training and support from in-house staff. We’re looking for someone who is motivated and has a great attention to detail, whilst being happy to work independently.

What we need from you:

• Availability to work at least 8 hours across the weekend (4 hours Saturday and 4 hours Sunday) plus frequent opportunities for extra hours during weekdays
• Commitment to a long term role
• Have at least 3 A Levels (grade C+) or experience commensurate to A Levels
• Are permanently based in the UK
• Have a computer and access to web connection
• A passion for online shopping and confidence using the internet
• A great eye for finding the best savings possible
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work both quickly and efficiently
• Can follow instructions and carefully follow house style rules
• Great communication and organisational skills, a friendly, positive and can-do manner

What you’ll be doing:

• Using our content management system you will be:
  • Adding compelling content following our house style to help our users find the best savings possible
  • Confirming current content is up-to-date
  • Ensuring we are reflecting merchants accurately
• Auditing content
• Frequently communicating with in-house staff to flag and resolve any issues with content, merchant pages, house style and links
