JOB TITLE: Assistant Director
REPORTS TO: Director/CEO
SUMMARY: As a member of the Leadership Team, the Assistant Director is responsible for the coordination and supervision of clinical programs, clinical and managerial staff. To understand and support Restoration’s mission with strong integrity and ethical standards, ensure accuracy of data; compliance withregulation; and identify operational deficiencies.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIES Ø Assist the Leadership Team in establishing and executing decision making processes and accomplishing effective dissemination of information to staff and assist in developing policies and practices that will meet strategic business growth goals.
Ø Maintain systems to establish standards relating to services and outcomes, client and staff satisfaction, as well as monitor electronic medical record system, and social media.
Ø Maintain a small outpatient therapy caseload and back-up for clinical staff, as well as assist with consultation on assessments, crisis interventions, mental health/substance use services.
Ø Monitor and inform/communicate/apply standards created and maintained by external bodies such as MCO, DHHS, NC State laws and integrate within internal quality management systems, as well as tele-therapy monitoring.
Ø Establish and implement necessary communication strategy for the improvement and awareness of quality issues across the organization.
Ø Assist with the monthly staff meetings and member of the quarterly Quality Assurance Committee.
Ø Assist with the development and implementation of methods to evaluate company programs. Assist with maintaining a comprehensive Policies and Procedures Manual for use by staff.
Ø Provide on-going training, supervision, development, and evaluation for professional staff.
Ø Monitor the delivery of mental health & substance use services and assure that client records are accurate and documented timely.
Ø Conduct peer reviews quarterly.
Ø Monitor Aggregate & Outcome Reports, Tracking Forms, and Incident Reports
QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Must be highly motivated. The ability to communicate with and relate to a diverse group of people including clients, community, and other staff. Must have excellent administrative and organizational skills.
- Demonstrate ability to assist in managing and supervising professionals, while handling multiple tasks and relating to stakeholders and community.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Position requires professional to possess:
Ø A NC fully licensure required (LCMHC, LCSW, LCMFT, dually with LCAS). Strong knowledge of compliance principles and of all federal, state and local regulations
Ø Excellent communication skills (written and oral): Able to effectively advise and communicate with senior management on issues and effectively interpret policies to all staff
Ø Successful candidate will be able to relate effectively to diverse cultural
Ø At least two (2) years of experience in supervision and mental health/substance use field
Ø Strong organizational and administrative skills. Able to establish and maintain policies, plans and programs and to ensure administrative compliance
Ø Driven to stay current on ever-changing mental health state regulations and laws
COMPUTER SKILLS To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge of work processing software; spreadsheet software, HER, and the internet.
