The Regulatory Training Coordinator is a certified trainer in the areas of Medication Administration, Red Cross CPR and First Aid, Fire Safety, and Crisis Prevention and Intervention. The Regulatory Training Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and facilitation of these trainings as well as tracking all employee training records.The Regulatory Training Coordinator provides a vital link between the trainers, direct care staff, and administration. A commitment to the RHD values should be demonstrated as job duties are performed.


* Coordinate and facilitate trainings as outlined by regulations and indicated by Assistant Directors
* Maintain training database; keeping record of all staff trainings, and identifying when new certifications and re-certifications are needed and communicate these needs with program leadership and training participants

* Maintain locked files of all training documents

* Assist in plan of correction for all incidents when applicable
* Maintain flexibility with schedule by being available during weekdays, weeknights, and weekends
* Provide on-site trainings as needed
* Generate assessment tools to ensure competency levels and retention of training topics and communicate results to staff and supervisors. Monitor staff strengths and weaknesses; identify trainings, as needed, to promote individual growth and professional enrichment

* Coordinate and facilitate all identified trainings including new hire orientation.
* In conjunction with ADR and Site Supervisors, identify and lead group of trainer's in the Mainstay system (practicum observers, GED facilitators etc.)
* Provide oversight and feedback to those facilitating the GED Program, Reading Group, Money Management, and Job Readiness groups.
* Maintain professionalism and model appropriate interactions and boundaries with consumers and staff at all times
* Participate in at least 24 hours of applicable trainings per year, and all other requirements per regulations
* Any other duties or responsibilities assigned

Will Train
High School Dipolma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred

* Knowledge of the characteristics of sexual offending
* Valid driver's license; and acceptable driving record
* Knowledge of and compliance with the PA 6400 Regulations and County Guidelines
* Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in written form


Community Passages is a community-based residential program designed to provide a homelike environment for individuals with developmental disabilities and dual diagnosis, many of whom present significant challenging behaviors and most of whom previously resided at state centers and hospitals. Residents develop life skills, increase their self-esteem, and are empowered to make choices for themselves.
