ResourceMFG is hiring for Production Manager for a local Manufacturing facility in York, PA!
$60-70K Per year
Production Manager Job Duties:

  • Schedule production orders in pressroom to be completed within the customers required timeline.
  • Administer the training necessary to maintain and improve the skills and abilities of personnel in the Stamping Department.
  • Monitor and adjust scheduling of press operators.
  • Ensure the safety of all equipment and facilities in the Stamping Department so that they are maintained in good working order.
  • Communication with Materials Manager, Quality Manager, and Shipping to ensure necessary supplies are available and ready for consumption
  • Monitor and resolve production related issues, escalating as needed.
  • Work with management team to develop and execute press room training plans for productivity, production and quality improvements,
  • Requisitions materials, parts, and supplies as required.
  • Assists the Quality Assurance Department with inspection of stamped product.
  • Communication with customers on production and quality issues.

Production Manager need:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Scheduling of shop floor and work force load in local ERP system (Epicor).
  • Manage work force of 15-20 personnel over multiple shifts
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as plane & solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to perform basic
  • math functions using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals including translation to and from metric measurements.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, & technical procedures.
  • Ability to write reports and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from
  • groups of managers and clients.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to read a blue print
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Ten-fifteen years experience in stamping plant and die maintenance.
