Recruiting Manager
$95 - $110K
Holmes Road
Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm
The Recruiting Manager will provide leadership, support, advocacy, and vision to our professional and industrial recruiters as well as the administrative staff for a Houston leader in pipe fittings and gauges. This position supports hiring managers for multiple subsidiaries across several states. This role is on-site; however, this role is a hybrid with working from home one day per week. You will work with senior leadership and corporate hiring managers. Apply today and enjoy coordinating job fairs or coordinating events. Recruiting Manager’s Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the recruiting overflow with immediate recruiting needs and hard-to-find positions prioritized
  • Develop and implement new strategies and programs to attract candidates
  • Organize and execute job fairs in partnership with 3rd party partners such as the Texas Workforce Commission, Office of Veterans Affairs, Universities, and Trade Schools
  • Provide constructive and timely feedback to the recruiting team
  • Oversee the daily workflow of the recruiting department
  • Works closely with hiring managers to share best practices, prioritize critical needs, and coordinate national-level initiatives
  • Be a business partner to the rest of the HR Management team
Recruiting Manager’s Requirements to Be a Successful Manager:

  • High school diploma required
  • Associate's or bachelor’s degree in business or related field a plus
  • 8 to 10 years of recruiting experience preferred
  • A sound understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, such as employment and hiring laws
  • Established experience utilizing technology, technical roles, and technical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate
  • Must function well in a high-paced and results-driven environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Establish the manager’s role as senior leadership and the corporate hiring manager
