Rentschler Biopharma, headquartered in Laupheim, Germany, is a leading contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO), focused exclusively on client projects.Rentschler Biopharma offers process development and manufacturing of bio pharmaceuticals as well as related consulting activities, including project management and regulatory support...Rentschler recently expanded its global footprint by opening a facility in the Boston metro area in Milford, MA.This site answers our US clients' strong request to bring our expertise, innovation and state of the art, high-quality development, and manufacturing across the Atlantic to better serve the unique US market, a key market for Rentschler Biopharma.Milford's proximity to our key US clients and Boston metro's many biotech startups, large pharmaceutical companies, incubator sites, world-class universities and biotech-focused research institutions enable us to strengthen our important US partnerships and forge new ones, elevate our technological capabilities and tap into the region's wide pool of expert talent.We are recruiting for a motivated, agile-thinking and hands-on experienced Project Manager to join a growing and dynamic site.This is an amazing opportunity to bring your expertise to a newly created team responsible for the operational readiness of key projects that support our capacity expansion efforts and/or New Product Introduction (NPI) within a rapidly growing cGMP facility.You will play an important role, leading a variety of site projects and initiatives that will expand the capacity and capabilities of our organization, as we construct a new state of the art manufacturing facility our Milford, MA site.The Project Manager will be responsible for independent management of multiple operational readiness projects with medium to high complexity that enable increased utilization of manufacturing and QC resources in order to meet client needs.Success is measured by this individual's ability to actively engage internal teams, external contractors and key stakeholders to achieve key project timelines while meeting safety, quality and cost deliverables needed for success.Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership and direction to assigned operational readiness projects, facilitating teams through the application of project management tools and processes to execute projects from launch through successful completion on time and within budget.Develop and implement detailed project plans, formal communication protocols and tools including meeting minutes, dashboards and management reports/presentations.Work with Senior Leadership Team to align project plan and progress, escalate potential hurdles and problem solve challengesIdentify resource and schedule constraints, key risks and issues to be resolved, and proactively drive the development of contingency and/or risk mitigation plans.Institute comprehensive work breakdown structures for all team deliverables; track and follow up on implementation of team decisions.Ensure high levels of communication with project teams, support resources and management.Maintain organizational standards of quality and performance while ensuring compliance with Finance, QMS, Sourcing, EHS and other internal functional support processes.Utilize PMO best practices, processes, metrics and tools to be more efficient and support acceleration of project timelines through improved efficiencies.Act as an information conduit between the project teams and senior management.Key RelationshipsEstablish key stakeholder relationships with internal and external stakeholders at the site, and across the networkAbility to influence members across multiple functions of the organization, inclusive but not limited to Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, Warehouse/Logistics, Operations, Finance, External contractors etcQualificationsBachelor's or master's degree in science, engineering, or related discipline5+ years of professional experience in the development a
