Rentback.com is seeking an experienced real estate professional to serve as our Regional Director and help facilitate Rentback's ongoing national expansion. Applicants must hold an active real estate broker license in Pennsylvania AND at least one (1) other (preferably contiguous) state(s). Special consideration will be given to applicants with an active broker license in five (5) or more states.
About the role
The Regional Director is responsible for establishing and managing multistate brokerage operations in their respective territory, representing Rentback sellers in leaseback transactions, and growing a team of licensed support personnel to meet growing demand for our service. The role requires expertise in brokering residential real estate sales, recruiting and team leadership, adapting new technology to old practices, and innovating new processes to contribute to organizational growth. The role of Regional Director offers a ground floor opportunity to be part of, and help build, a platform with the potential to fundamentally reshape the residential real estate market. The Director reports to Rentback's COO at HQ and is anticipated to work remotely.
Transitioning to the role
Rentback recognizes that many of the best candidates for this position may have an existing real estate practice and need to wind down an existing firm and/or close active listings. To this end, we have designed a transition period for the Regional Director position. During the transition period, our new Director may continue to operate an existing firm while also representing Rentback clients in their respective states. Compensation during the transition period is commission-based, to be replaced by a base salary plus variable compensation upon completion of the transition period.
· Hold 2+ active state broker licenses in good standing with real estate commission in region’s respective state(s)
· 5+ years of experience transacting single-family real estate as agent, broker, or attorney
· 2+ years of experience as managing or principal broker at a real estate firm
· Unlimited PTO
· Considerable autonomy and executive-level privileges
· Work remote or access co-working space
· Reserved parking spot or rideshare allowance (where applicable)
· Personal workstation
· Paid travel (optional)
