Description:

The HR Assistant is responsible for providing on-site clerical support within the Human Resource department. Primary functions will pertain to supporting Renewal by Andersen of Sacramento’s recruiting process including, but not limited to, ATS and HRIS utilization, document preparation, paperwork processing, scanning, filing and data entry. Awareness of deadlines, timeframes, and the appropriate sense of urgency are key to success in this role, while accuracy and attention to detail are paramount.


Responsibilities

This position is responsible for the following:

  • Work frequently within our HRIS and ATS systems, following procedures and entering data without errors
  • Scan paper documents, title, and file them digitally per recordkeeping guidelines in a timely fashion
  • Assist with the ongoing auditing, maintenance, and compliant organization of human resource records
  • Monitor e-mails, address basic correspondence, and escalate more complex matters
  • Prepare paperwork and documentation for HR related functions upon request
  • Participate in the coordination, set up, tear-down, and attendance of job fairs
  • Conduct yourself in a manner that reflects the company and HR department appropriately at all times
  • Perform any other related, unrelated, unassigned, unspecified, out of the ordinary, or special duties as requested

Requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Ability to type at least 60 WPM with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to take direction and work both independently and cooperatively
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with HRIS systems or cloud-based software preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and use discretion where needed
