Our expanding home improvement business is searching for a talented Service Coordinator to provide Service Desk support for our internal teams and our customers. This Service Department is currently scheduling 24-30 Service Technicician visits per day for field repairs at customer’s homes, specifically related to RbA windows and installation. Your ability to communicate effectively with installers, internal stakeholders, and homeowners is a must. This position is fast-paced, and requires consistent attention to detail and complete follow-through. This position requires heavy phone usage, and intermediate computer proficiency. This person will have the will be expected to provide support to the Service Team to ensure that all Service requests and tickets are assigned appropriately.

REPORTS TO: Service Manager


· Log service requests in the ticketing system, create service tickets, add detail and service assign service tickets appropriately

· Provide Service Desk support: receive incoming calls, voicemails, and emails from existing customer regarding service requests

· Answer phone calls and respond to emails regarding booking of installation appointments and potential follow-up appointments

· Follow up to get additional detail regarding the service requests

· Make outgoing calls (or emails) to customers to notify them that we have received their service request.

· Notify homeowners when parts have been ordered or service has been scheduled

· Document milestones and customer contact within the system of record

· Schedule and reschedule Service appointments, as necessary

· Ensure that high priority appointment requests and scheduling conflicts are either scheduled or resolved

· Build meaningful partnerships and working relationships with cross-functional teams


· Previous scheduling and installation or home improvement experience a plus

· Intermediate to advanced computer and typing proficiency

· Customer service phone and email skills

· Ability to learn quickly within a fast-paced environment required

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Excellent organizational skills

· Excellent attention to detail with an ability to follow up and result in successful closure

· Sense of urgency in identifying quick resolution to issues presented

· Flexibility and ability to adapt well in a changing and challenging environment

· Minimum school diploma
