RenewAge Energy Solutions is seeking to hire a Project Coordinator / Estimator to join our El Segundo, CA team who will help construction implementation solutions and to join our fast growing general construction and public works division.

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling the electrical commercial construction projects for installation, inspection, and commissioning in addition to estimating construction project costs associated. Strong organizational and communication skills are important to maintain forward project momentum. An individual who has strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with both onsite and offsite teams will excel in this role. This person will have 5+ years experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of building codes, safety protocols, and similar industry related knowledge. 

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Estimate electrical commercial construction project costs to help put together RenewAge implementation quotes

• Coordinate with building officials, customers, and other pertinent parties on matters relating to the forward progress of a project

• Help manage subcontractors in the implementation of EV charging projects. This may include setting up and collecting RFQs, overseeing project progress, supporting supply delivery, and progress payments.

• Send project notification emails to building managers to detail the scope, exact date and time of construction, inspection, and commissioning of charging stations

• Conduct a weekly call with the operations team to go over project status and help determine action items needed to move projects forward

• Support the construction manager and program manager in various task to help support the completion of electrical commercial construction projects

Required Experience: 

• 5+ years experience as a Electrical Commercial Project Coordinator / Estimator

• Minimum bachelor's degree in construction management or other related field and/or construction management certifications

• Broad construction experience and knowledge-base in general contracting, electrical and other specialty trades

• Extensive knowledge of building codes, safety protocols, etc.

• Confidence with attention to detail and strong communication

• Ability to multitask, handle multiple projects at once and work on multiple projects at a time

• Existing subcontractor and trade technician relationships a plus
