We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to become a part of our team! You will assist in the preparation of medications under the direction of a pharmacist. We are a professional, independent pharmacy located in Jersey City heights.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare medication and other healthcare products for patients
- Measure dosage of medications, according to prescription orders
- Process prescriptions using computer software
- Label and record dosage information
- Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies
- Answer phone calls
- Assist clients at cash register
- Pharmacy must be kept clean and orderly
Qualifications:
- High school diploma is required
- Previous experience in pharmacy or other health related field
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Must be bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn specific or appropriate pharmacy software
- Able to work a flexible work schedule
