Job Description

Accounts Payable Clerk -

Responsibilities:

• Prepare check run/cash requirements report bi-monthly

• Process check and credit card payments for approved check runs as well as ad-hoc, urgent requests

• Research and reply to payments requests from vendors and subcontractors

• Enter payment vouchers/invoices for all Bank related charges as well as credit card payments

• Manage, sort, and organize AP shared email inbox

• Reconciliation of company credit card accounts and corresponding exchange GL accounts

• Maintain/order new company credit cards as needed

• Processing of wage garnishment payments

• Reconciliation of interdepartmental invoices

• Month-end close process, including but not limited to running open PO report, entering missing job costs, closing out expired PO’s, etc.
