Are you a detail oriented team player, we are looking for you, an inventory control manager!

 

This is what you will be doing

·       This position is responsible for the coordination of the efforts of Inventory Control personnel in managing the Distribution Center Inventory

·       Ensure the integrity of inventory quantities in the Distribution centers by SKU

·       Manage inventory movement, ensuring that transactions are posted accurately and on-time including merchandise transfers in and out

·       Oversee physical inventory scheduling, execution and reconciliation; serves as the primary contact with inventory service companies and outside auditors

·       Manage physical inventory procedures for both cycle and full counts, analyzing results to identify shrink issues and recommend actionable corrective measures

·       Develop statistical analysis aimed at identifying inventory shrink trends, collaborating with Store Operations and Loss Prevention to implement shortage control programs to reduce loss

·       Keep open lines of communication and build relationships with associates, leadership and business partners

·       Evaluate and articulate performance providing timely feedback and mentoring to entire team

·       Ability to contribute to long term strategy sessions and provide insight to outside entities in that process

·       Build and monitor performance to budget and business plans

·       Interprets company policies for the team and partners appropriately to resolve issues

·       Identify, coach, train and promote associates who can grow their contribution to the organization

 

Qualifications

·       five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

·       To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Financial Data Systems, Payroll Systems, Microsoft Office programs and be familiar with Warehouse Management functionality

·       Ability to manage projects and workload with limited direction

·       Must possess sound judgment and understand when to partner with business partners and leaders

·       Must appreciate and promote diversity of people and ideas

Education

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university;
