This Position in a Nutshell:

 

As a member of Reltio's HR Operations team, the HR Generalist is responsible for supporting a full spectrum of human resources activities and to act as a trusted resource for employees and managers.  This includes, but is not limited to, implementing, administering, and maintaining a variety of HR programs and providing support at various levels within the organization. The HR Generalist will work closely with Talent Acquisition, Finance, Legal, and IT/Information Security on various HR programs including onboarding, offboarding, benefits and ongoing employee data maintenance.

 

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

 

  • Provide an effective and dedicated HR advisory service to employees - addressing questions related to our handbook, policies, processes and programs, including health and welfare benefits, leave of absence, and compliance.
  • Streamline and manage our onboarding process to deliver a great first impression and set our new hires up for success, including offer documents, background checks, new hire paperwork, systems data entry, and orientation.
  • Manages termination process - including required notifications, maintaining HR systems, and conducting exit interviews with exiting employees.
  • Manages and oversees all benefits plan designs and related processes, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, STD, LTD, Life Insurance, HSA/FSAs, wellness programs, etc.
  • Support HRBP team with disciplinary actions: including investigations, handling ER issues, and helping make employee relations recommendations to ensure consistency, risk assessment and completeness.
  • Streamline and manage our global contingent worker onboarding process (contractors, consultants, partners).
  • Participate in the development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and standard reports for ongoing company requirements.
  • Suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve efficiency of the HR department and organization as a whole, and to improve employee experience
  • Assist HR Operations Partner with system implementations and provided training to employees and managers 
  • Assist in the communication, interpretation and upkeep of the employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart, and contributes to the development of policies.
  • Assist with performance management and internal Net Promoter Score processes, including 30/60/90 day check ins, goal setting, engagement and pulse surveys, and the annual performance review process.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations, actively identifying gaps through self-auditing and related processes, and proposing and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Bring creativity and strategic thinking on how we can nurture strong collaboration and inclusion across geographies as we continue to grow globally
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.  As the company continues its growth, we anticipate the needs of the HR team to flex and the ideal candidate will flex with us.

 

Skills You Must Have:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience working in HR
  • Experience with HRIS applications used in HR tracking and reporting.
  • Intermediate level of Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Detail-oriented person that acts with a sense of urgency
  • Knowledge of local, state and federal employment law and regulations
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Effective problem-solving/listening skills, organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment

 

Skills That Are Nice to Have: 

 

  • Experience with BambooHR, Carta and Lattice
  • Experience with background checks and compliance in a global setting
  • Global company experience, preferably in a high-growth SaaS environment
