About the Position: We are seeking a talented Front Counter Sales Representative who possesses a strong commitment to work and who thrives in a busy, challenging, team-oriented environment. Task and Duties:

· Assist walk-in/call-in customers in a friendly and positive manner

o Provide pricing and availability

o Identify, research, and resolve customer issues

o Process customer orders

o Pick orders for will call customers

o Assist in replenishing display items

o Assist in maintaining professional appearance of store front including but not limited to: behind the counters, showroom, and customer restroom, and customer parking area

· Ensure all front counter operations and cash handling are performed per policies and procedures

· Positive, customer-oriented, service attitude

· Ability to work under pressure no problem

· Be a team player and support the needs of an organization

· Be a single solution source for customers

o Understand and utilize other departments

o Relay important company/industry information

o Recommend appropriate products to enhance customer experience

o Ability to recognize opportunity for additional sales

· Maintain customer relationships

· Meet company performance standards and goals as defined by your manager

· Other duties as assigned

· Regular, consistent, and predictable attendance

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to walk, stand, bend, twist, carry, grasp, type and write up to 8 hours a day

· Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks. Able to set appropriate priorities, respond to changes, and demonstrate flexibility in dealing with daily demands

· Familiar with computer operation, data entry experience with multiple screens

· Strong interpersonal communication skills to support team effort and needs of organization

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • Positive, customer-oriented, service attitude
  • Prior customer service experience of two years
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Multi-tasking proficiency
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Be a team player and support the needs of an organization
  • Ability to recognize opportunity for additional sales

Experience with appliance parts or major home appliances preferred
