Job Description

Job Title: Custom Blending Packager  


Normally Reports to: Custom Blending Production Manager



Job Objective:          Assist custom blending management (Production Manager, Lab Manager, Lead Blender, and RSL Manager) in all areas of the warehouse and custom blending operation.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities: In addition to the essential job functions described below, all associates will perform duties as requested by management. Assigned responsibilities and duties may vary based upon location size and operation.  


Bulk Farm Operations

  • Logging incoming bulk transport loads, including identifying oil temperature for correct fill volumes  
  • Logging empty packaging inspections
  • Logging Batch filling numbers
  • Retain samples drawn from each transport compartment and kept for six months
  • Samples retained from drum and tote batches
  • Recording all repackaging of bulk product repackaged for inventory purposes
  • Responsible for product integrity and following proper process
  • Properly using pumps and equipment as needed


  • Logging empty packaging inspections
  • Logging batch filling numbers
  • Samples retained from drum, keg, pail, gallon, and quart batches
  • Properly labeling all empty packaging with correct custom label
  • Reading blend/fill tickets, locating correct product, and fill amounts
  • Properly using all filling pumps, equipment, and machinery
  • Filling and labeling of all package sizes including specialty packaging like grease tubes
  • Understand products filled by measure – volume or weight
  • Will be working on a packaging line



  • Pull orders for shipment 
  • Place the material in the staging area; return the ticket to the proper location
  • Separate material to shipping points
  • Load outgoing shipment onto trucks
  • Banding and wrapping pallets for shipment. Including specialty wrapping/handling
  • Building and reporting of specialty customer orders


  • Receive all incoming materials 
  • Unload incoming shipments from trucks
  • Verify and complete the delivery receipt.  Note damaged or shortage on delivery receipt and have driver initial
  • Complete all receiving paperwork
  • Ensure CofA paperwork is received by the lab
  • Stage all incoming materials in the quarantine area until ok’ed by the lab
  • Stock and stage received materials once QC’ed


  • Keep all areas of the warehouse clean and organized
  • Organize pallets and other support materials in a safe manner
  • Assist in any 5S initiatives


  • Participate in monthly cycle counts and yearly inventory
  • Communicate all concerns to supervisor or lead
  • Correct any issues as they occur – inventory, file maintenance, labeling, product integrity, etc..
  • Assist other departments with responsibilities as needed
  • Compliance with company uniform policy
  • Represent the company in a professional manner at all times in front of customers internal and external
  • Abide by all policies, rules, regulations of the company including all applicable safety rules, regulations, and procedures
  • Support corporate programs, goals, and initiatives
  • Work overtime as needed
