Summary

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist who is hard-working, self-motivated, organized and shares a passion for excellence to join our sturdy-dynamic team. The AP Specialist will perform general AP duties, including entering accounts payable invoices and freight bills, communicating with vendors and internal company contacts to resolve account balances, and other duties as assigned. The position will support our North America operations.

Responsibilities

• Sorts incoming AP invoices and freight bills, email for approval,
• Enters AP invoices into our financial system and confirm the correct department coding
• Review statements
• Respond to vendors inquiries
• Weekly check run
• Processing of mail, filing, and other administrative tasks as required
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, AA degree preferred
• 3-5 years of work experience in a professional business environment
• Excellent Excel skills with knowledge of other MS Office software
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, balancing multiple priorities and deadlines
• Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments
• Very organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Shows commitment through execution of responsibilities regardless of the challenges posed
• Experience with Epicor system is a plus
