Reinke Supply Company is seeking an experienced and motivated Inside Sales and Customer Service Professional to join our team in our Elgin, IL office. We are looking for a candidate that has strong customer service experience as well as inside sales experience. An ideal candidate will professionally represent Reinke Supply and manage all customer service and sales counter responsibilities assigned to them. The candidate must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This position requires, verifying stock and pricing, processing purchase orders, expediting rush orders, assisting walk-in customers with our products as well as job quoting, shipment tracking and setting up trucks for delivery of products when requested.
· Receive and process orders through phone, fax, and email
· Answer incoming phone calls in a professional manner
· Provide excellent customer service to our walk-in customers
· Use company resources to gather information and offer solutions to meet customer needs
· File documents according to criteria requirements
· Process payments of cash and credit card receipts
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Proficient with office equipment such as faxes and copy machines etc.
· Basic math skills
· Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products such as Excel, Outlook, and Word
· Basic 10 key proficiency
· Professional appearance
· Occasional overtime as needed
· Spanish speaking is a plus
An ideal candidate will be flexible and will have the ability to work as a team as well as independent. This is an inside sales and customer service environment where the ability to handle multiple issues is vital. Experience within the Construction Industry is preferred.
