Plans, directs, and coordinates all activities of the Food & Nutrition Services Department to provide clinical dietetic services and food production and service for patients, staff, school and outside catering clients. The director is responsible for the Quality Assessment & Improvement (QA&I) program. Controls department budget compliance and prepares the operating and capital budget compliance and prepares the operating and capital equipment budgets. The director maintains adherence to administration and regulatory agency policies. The Director demonstrates Courtesy, positive Attitude, Respect, and Enthusiasm to patients, visitors, and co-workers. Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in Foodservice Management, Nutrition, Finance, Business Management, Healthcare Administration or similar required. Education Preferred: Master's degree. Registered Dietitian strongly preferred. Experience Prefered: Extensive experience in hospital food service administration Strong management and interpersonal skills Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 3 - 5 years
