REGISTERED NURSE (RN) AND LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN)
Seeking Nursing Staff for agency serving persons with Intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
Administer and oversee Medical Care for persons with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Maintain comprehensive and detailed medical records including Nursing Assessments, Medication Administration Records (MAR) and maintain medications following established medication administration standards of OSHA, Medicaid, Established Standards of Care, etc. Monitor and maintain an sufficient and adequate level of inventory of medications/prescriptions on an individual basis. Conduct training sessions for staff on infection control, medication administration, and basic medical functions (vital signs, blood sugar tests, documentation, etc).
Nursing Certification of Completion from an approved program with Current Licensure (Required)
Ability to rotate on call and flexibility in work schedule (Required)
Medication Administration Supervisor (MAS) Certification (Preferred)
Knowledge of Alabama Department of Mental Health (ADMH) Standards (Preferred)
