Rental Coordinator Are you searching for a fast-paced, empowering, entrepreneurial long-standing family owned company to find a home? We operate our head office in Guelph, Ontario and require a goal oriented, problem solver as our Rental Co-Ordinator to join our fun, loyal and dedicated team with the goal of ensuring complete customer satisfaction from beginning of contract until completion. Through your strong computer and administrative skills, and ability to deliver customer satisfaction through a professional attitude you will assist the team in making our customers smile. By assisting in the fist point of contact with our customers, whose purpose is to understand customer equipment needs, and place rental orders through computerized contract administration. Then assist in the follow up by pre-rent checks and ensure the deliveries are dispatched. If you love heavy equipment or construction tools and have worked in in the rental, trucking, or parts, service automotive industries and have a proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite,contract administration, have stellar organizational skills and excellent interpersonal skills this position is for you. We are a private, family-owned company with many long-term employees, great culture and work environment.Daily work hours between 9am – 6pm (Phone on One Weekend every three weekends) Responsibilities: Receive and process customer requests for Heavy Equipment Scheduling equipment & deliveries in conjunction with our dispatch team Contract creation & completion using computerized Point of Rental Softwar Check-in and check-out of all equipment as well as maintain all site inventories Ensure company policies, procedures, regulations are followed Free thinker & problem solver Liaising with customers & management to ensure strong beneficial relationships Ensuring all aspects of the contract process are implemented and completed in the shortest possible turn-around time Working to ensure best practice for contract execution Help ensure rental ready equipment via physical inspection & checklist Comply with company Health & Safety program- Other Duties as assigned Qualifications: Advanced computer skills (Point of Rental, MS Outlook, Office, Excel) Analytical, logical, and ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment Excellent customer service skills – verbal & written Strong rental leadership, communication and interpersonal skills Ability to resolve conflict quickly while maintaining great working relationship with customer and fellow colleagues. Ability to manage a high level of change- Superior memory Ability to work in diverse weather conditions in the office & in the yard Ability to climb up and down on large machinery and move around the yard as required Point of Rental knowledge is considered an asset.
