Spanish Teacher - Long-Term Substitute

Regis Jesuit High School is seeking a Substitute Spanish Teacher to begin at the end of March 2023 through the remainder of the year. The position has the potential to become permanent in the 23-24 school year. Salary is determined using the Faculty Salary Scale, based on education level and years of experience (scale ranges from BA, Tier 1: $40,942 to MA45, Tier 30: $94,443). The position will be eligible for benefits after waiting period.
Expectations Include:
- Ability to teach all levels of Spanish, including Honors
- A bachelor's degree in the subject area (MA preferred)
- A Colorado teaching license, comparable certification, or working toward alternative licensure
- Teaching 5 out of 7 class periods per two day cycle (Block Scheduling)
- Commitment to the life of the school outside the classroom through coaching, advising, and moderating extra-curricular programs
- Attending assemblies, prayer services, masses, service opportunities
- Modeling Christian values and contributing to forming student values
