We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Multi-Family Brokerage Associate for an industry leading commercial real estate team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting clients in the process of buying and selling of multi-family properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the real estate industry, excellent communication and analytical skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
Compensation:$96,500
Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of multi-family real estate market, including trends in supply and demand, and property values
- Qualify potential buyers by reviewing their financial statements and checking references, responsible for the negotiation of deal terms
- Assist in the underwriting and financial analysis of potential deals, including forecasting cash flows and creating proforma financial models
- Meticulous documentation and management of due diligence process, including reviewing financial statements, conducting multi-family property inspections, and coordinating with third-party vendors
- Review and analyze legal documents, such as purchase agreements and contracts, to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations for multi-family properties
- Has accountability of asset assignments, works closely with brokers, attorneys, appraisers, and other professionals involved in multi-family real estate transactions to ensure a smooth and successful closing
- Conduct market research to identify potential multi-family properties for investment or sale and provide detailed analyses of the properties’ financial performance and potential returns
- Communicate with clients and develop long-term relationships with them, including responding to inquiries, providing market updates, and negotiating deals
- Bachelor’s degree, preferred
- 2+ years of retail leasing/selling experience
- Detail-oriented
- In-depth knowledge of the multi-family real estate industry and overall deal structures and terminology
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skill
- Team Building: Demonstrates ability to work independently and as part of a team within a fast-paced environment
- Presentation Skills: Is effective in a variety of formal presentation settings; commands attention and has executive presence/impact
- Drive for Results: has confidence in abilities and can be counted on to exceed goals successfully
