Redi, a new cannabis dispensary slated to open in Natick in November, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team!

As the Assistant Store Manager you will assist in overseeing all elements of the dispensary operations and ensure Redi delivers an exceptional experience for our guests and employees. The cannabis industry is rapidly evolving and fast-paced. In this role, you will need to be able to juggle many tasks while maintaining a calm, cool demeanor in all situations.

Title: Dispensary Assistant General Manager

Position: The Dispensary Assistant General Manager is responsible for managing the duties of the RSA and Senior RSA while acting as a liaison between guests and Redi management to continually improve the customer experience.

Duties and supervision:

  • Reports directly to the Dispensary Manager
  • Direct reports include RSAs and RSA Shift Leads

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains dispensary operations by adhering to Redi policies and procedures for the daily operation of the dispensary and fully comply with state marijuana regulations
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of cannabis; its various forms, effects, dosing, titrations, methods of consumption, and quality metrics
  • Supervise, lead and inspire staff through coaching and leading by example
  • Ensure the store is stocked, clean and in proper operational order
  • Provide analysis and feedback to leadership regarding operational procedure and customer experience to encourage continual improvement
  • Responsible for interacting with guests, providing knowledge, information and resources on a regular basis
  • Act as a liaison between guests and Redi management to continually improve the customer experience
  • Immediately address any guest conflict or complaint and encourage long term guest relationships and loyalty to our brand
  • Utilize the point of sale record keeping system to maintain and manage records and other important information
  • Perform daily reconciliation process between state system and POS
  • Performs bank deposit preparation ensuring all deposit amounts are accurate, reflect the facility totals as required and are ready for deposit as required
  • Train new RSA staff and model exceptional RSA service
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in retail hospitality in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills, POS software and cash management
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and multitasking skills
  • Maintains a detailed knowledge of Redi's software and operation procedures
  • Ability to deal with problems and resolve in professional manner
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about cannabis

Physical capabilities: Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks

  • Lift, carry, push, and pull objects that weigh up to 30 pounds
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and perform computer processing operations. Must be able to accommodate a varying schedule based on operational needs
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays; May be requested to work additional time, as business demands require
  • Complete any needed assistance including oversight and coverage outside of the assigned region as needed
