Accounts Payable Clerk (Fully Remote-US)

Redgrave LLP, one of the largest legal practices focused exclusively on addressing the legal challenges that arise at the intersection of the law and technology, including eDiscovery, information governance, data privacy, and data security, is currently recruiting for the position of Accounts Payable Clerk. Under the direction of the Accounting Director, the Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for processing of invoices and reimbursements received for payment in an accurate, efficient and timely manner. The position calls for flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside vendors.
DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Accounts Payable (AP) Duties
o Review, scan, and processing of expense reports and check requests, including general ledger voucher coding
o Preparation of vouchers for payment of invoices
o Run preliminary conflict checks on new clients/potential work.
o Verify the descriptions, spelling and presentation of expense data entered into the AP system and verify they conform to Firm standards
o Reconciliation of credit card accounts, including tracking down of missing receipts, including adjustments of vouchers when receipts are identified
o Creation of new vendors, including obtaining and preparing 1099 information
o Management of vendor files
o Ensure supply requisitions are reviewed and approved prior to payment
· Administrative Duties
o Perform administrative duties as necessary for the Support Service Group. These duties may include:
Assist in the development and implementation of procedures and policies related to the AP processes as necessary
Adherence to business standards and procedures
o Perform review and analysis of special projects as assigned keeping management properly informed
o Review and summarize miscellaneous business and operational reports and documents; prepare background documents and communications as necessary
· Perform other related duties as assigned.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
· Essential Skills
o Written and oral communication skills in English

· Preferred Skills
o Prior experience with Orion Law software or other similar business ERP or accounting packages
· Associates degree; or relevant work or military experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
- Occasional lifts objects weighing up to 10 pounds
- Frequently reaches and grasps with arms and hands; Occasionally stoops and bends; Must have manual dexterity
- Ability to closely examine and inspect materials
- Frequently uses a keyboard to enter or transform words or data
- Work is performed in a normal office environment where there are few physical discomforts due to dust, dirt, noise, and the like.
