Certified Pharmacy Technician CPhT - Compounding Experience Preferred

We are seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician CPhT - Front End/Cashier, Pharmacy experience is preferred to become a part of our team! You will assist in the preparation of medications under the direction of a pharmacist.

Responsibilities:

• Answer phones
• Greet, help, or ring customers
• Prepare deliveries, mail, FedEx, Stat!
• Call doctor office for refills or questions
• Receiving new written prescription or refill requests and verify that information is complete and accurate
• Ability to perform drug calculations and interpret prescriptions
• Answering telephones, responding to questions or requests
• Assists with pharmacy workflow as needed
• Collect, prioritize, and sort incoming faxes
• Assists the Pharmacist in filling prescription items,
• Prepare medication and other healthcare products for patients
• Process prescriptions using computer software
• Label and record dosage information
• Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies
• Complies with all laws, regulations and standards of ethical conduct

• AZ Cerified Pharmacy Technician - Documentation Required
• Previous experience in pharmacy or other related fields
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
