Job Description

Red Meters manufactures industrial measurement systems used by Fortune 500 companies around the world to measure mining slurries, dredging operations, oil and gas pipelines, and similar applications.

Last year we launched our Partner Program for distributors which has since welcomed 40+ distributors across more than 18 countries. Our Partner Program is made up of an international network of instrumentation firms, OEMs, and engineering consultants in the industrial process field.

We are seeking a driven individual with experience/interest in the industrial sector and working with international companies to finalize deals brought in by our direct sales team and distributors. Your relationship management / sales skill set will be instrumental in closing deals and bringing on new customers.

To accomplish this, you will finalize deals directly with end user companies (engineers, procurement managers, engineering firms, etc) by handling negotiations, and ensuring PO’s are received and funded. Before arriving at your desk, deals are qualified by our in-house Business Development Managers and Partner Distributors.

Strong, direct communication skills are an essential tool to this role as you will be communicating with major international companies such as Baker Hughes, Saudi Aramco, Mondelez, etc.

Our team is looking for self starters who are comfortable approaching new problems and adapting to each clients unique challenges. Those just looking for “a job” will neither be compatible with nor comfortable in our fast-paced environment.

Remuneration comprises a basic salary and uncapped commission.

Responsibilities

  • Process inbound communications (phone, live chat, email, etc)

  • Contact leads and book appointments for the Business Development team

  • Confirm scheduled appointments

  • Handle commercial and logistics negotiations of new and repeat orders

  • Generate quotes based on customer submitted RFQ's

  • Ensure Purchase Orders are received and funded

  • Communicate with Partners (distributors), customers, engineering firms, etc

  • Update and maintain management platforms - ie: Hubspot CRM, Quickbooks, Trello, Slack, Google Apps

  • Report to Sales Director and Management Team

  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven ability to close and execute deals

  • Strong sense of professionalism and personal responsibility

  • Experience working in or with international companies

Required Education / Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years’ of related experience in a Sales role

  • Must be permitted to work in the United States

  • Must be currently located in Orlando, Florida

This is a full time position based in our offices just south of downtown Orlando with ample opportunity for training, personal development and career advancement.

 

Projected Year 1 Income (basic + commission) $150,000
