Customer Service Representative

Our client is in the Medical Device Industry. They are looking for a true go getter to join their team!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Account Management / Service Existing Accounts
  • Communicate with nationwide customers via phone, instant messaging, fax or e-mail
  • Follow-up and provide status information to customers regarding order status and shipments as requested
  • Communicate with accounting and warehouses with credit information, shipping instructions, changes and cancellations
  • Processing Customer Orders and Negotiating Prices
  • Sales Administration- Pricing, Sales Contracts, Item Returns, Invoicing, Salesforce.com
  • Sales Order Entry – Enter Ecommerce, phone & fax orders into our Navision ERP Accounting System
  • Prospecting & Cold Calling
  • Work with other departments to meet customer expectations and fulfill promises
  • Maintain knowledge of products offered by our client, including new or revised product launches
  • Participate in all Customer Service and Sales training programs

Skills/Experience Required:

  • The ideal candidate will have 4 - 7 years customer service/sales experience
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred
  • Background in medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing and/or wholesale distribution
  • Commitment to building strong relationships with clients as well as internal team members
  • Excellent administrative, written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly motivated, well organized, and must have a positive attitude
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent follow-up and problem solving skills. Can effectively and efficiently research problems with the appropriate individuals and respond to the customer (either internal or external) within the time frame given
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a cross-functional role
  • Strong computer skills with advanced knowledge of MS Excel (Pivot Tables and V-lookups), and Salesforce.com
