General Description:
The Regional Account Manager manages existing client relationships, originates new clients, and organizes marketing events related to Advanced Roofing and Sheet Metal and associated roofing services. Advanced Roofing and Sheet Metal is a full-service Roofing contractor specializing in all types of roofing, re-roofing, sheet metal for multi-family single family residential, industrial and commercial properties. Provides all necessary direction and oversight to the branch and administration including, among other things, sales and marketing, client relationship management, project estimating, field observations/inspections and office administration in accordance with all company policies and procedures. Managing the Branch with the authority and autonomy granted to him/her by the Vice President, the RSDM is responsible to meet and exceed all established performance objectives for revenue and profitability.
Duties:
- Meet or exceed revenue/sales goals and marketing efforts in the ARSM branch
- Conducts regular and frequent visits to clients with the purpose of building upon client company relationships resulting in the generation of new roof work in the branch and other markets.
- Produces estimates and oversees estimates on your sales team, and office staff towards the successful achievement of job profitability and revenue goals
- Maintain customer relationship management database of client contacts and their applicable information.
- Work with clients via phone, e-mail, and in-person.
- Organize marketing events such as trade shows, golf tournaments, lunch - and - learn meetings, etc.
- Implementing marketing and business development strategies
- Perform assigned marketing research and compose reports reflecting findings.
- Manage inventory of promotional products. Work with the Corporate Marketing Department on inventory.
- Maintain calendar of marketing events as well as all presentation, board meetings and other events surrounding the acquisition of projects.

- Ensures that all sales are contracted and handed off to the Operations group for execution at the highest level of compliance with company policies and procedures
- Responsible for setting and reaching annual sales goals, while managing sales development
- Receives and carries out direction from corporate on all legal, accounting, and corporate procedure compliance issues
- Trains, equips, and develops the personnel in their respective positions; and utilizes personal development plans and properly documents regular reviews in the process
- Interprets and understands all reports and utilizes them to train and equip their teams towards the achievement of branch revenue and profitability goals
- Works in conjunction with all other corporate entities and commits to ensuring that working relationships remain positive and communication lines remain open
- Provides written and oral status reports on branch operations. Identifies performance gaps and mobilizes efforts to close them
- Attends all regularly scheduled meetings called by branch or corporate
- Supports ARSM corporate in its initiatives for success
- Must maintain knowledge and stay abreast of IBC, State, Manufactures, OSHA specifications/regulations, and addendums
- Must stay involved in roofing projects with client while scope of work is being performed
- Other duties as assigned
Physical Demands:
- Be able to sit for long periods of time in front of computer.
- Be able to stand/walk for long periods of time in all seasons of weather.
- Be able to climb ladders and walk roof structures.
- Be able to drive for long periods of time as needed. (Travel to other markets)
- Be able to work more than 40 hours per week when required
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent computer skills, including MS-Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, and company service modules
- Be able to measure, diagram all types of roof system and structures
- Be able to provide cost take-offs for scopes of work on materials and labor
- Be able to identify roofing deficiencies, and identify problematic issues
- Be able to price, propose and close opportunities. (Follow up on all types of opportunities)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage and train others
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong customer service skills
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years roofing management experience
- Experience in roofing industry
- Must have 5 years' experience in estimating and roof take off's
- Must have performed work or sales in the commercial/Industrial roofing business
- Must know low and steep slope roofing types, components and systems
- High school diploma
