  • Their Institutional Trade Processings (ITP) mission is to enable our clients to reduce the number of manual touches in their post trade lifecycle by providing consolidated exception and settlement management capabilities to drive settlement finality. Data is a key enabler for this, for both our clients and our colleagues. Its the lifeline of our products, but also allows them to benchmark and identify areas of improvement.
  • The ITP Data Office owns and exploits all the meaningful data assets held within ITP. Building out from a green field, we seek to capture, cleanse, enrich, derive, and store all of that data, and then build technology and data driven products, delivering insight and advantage for our customers both within the company and outside.
  • We are looking for an experienced, energetic senior Business Analyst to join our ITP Data Office team to undertake a key role in building out these new data products.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • We are seeking a data minded senior business analyst to work in the ITP Data office, initially on our digital identity and access control service, P&O.
  • Your role will be crucial: to identify and capture the requirements of the market and work as part of an Agile product delivery team to build the products that satisfy those requirements. Engaging with other collaborators such as product manager, product owner, developers, and users, you will be a core leader in requirement elicitation, product design, and supporting your development and testing colleagues through the build and test process to deliver top grade software product. You will be the SME on, and the evangelist for your product(s), providing second level support answering the difficult questions from colleagues and clients.
  • Work closely with product management to identify unfulfilled market needs
  • Identify and design solutions to meet those needs
  • Road test those solutions with clients to make sure it works for them
  • Express that solution in clear stories that advise the rest of the development team to what they need to build and test
  • Support other members of the delivery team as the onsite voice of the customer, resolving queries as they are raised
  • Moves project forward by stepping into other functional roles (testing, iteration management, etc.), when applicable
  • Author documentation for the functionality being delivered in iterations
  • Partner with internal customers such as Integration and Documentation to bring their product to market.
  • Help build BA standards and best practices.
  • Provide second level support to external and internal customers.
  • Acts as an enthusiast for their product

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience with identify management, authentication, access control/permissions of functionality and data
  • Experience as a software business analyst
  • Experience with equity and fixed income post trade processing gained at a buy or sell side firm, or a vendor
  • Experience with databases, SQL and data modeling and data analysis
  • Experience preferred with JSON, XML, SWIFT messages, FIX protocol, Agile methodology
  • Certifications in Business Analysis or Agile a plus
  • Well-developed sense of humor essential

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (Submission Summary):
