Prominent, highly visible Account Executive role with a rapidly growing safety software solutions company. You must have prior success selling conceptual services to Managers, Director’s, and Executive level decision makers in a competitive marketplace. You excel at building relationships and closing new business with Public Safety Organizations, State and Local Government Agencies, and K-12 School Districts. You must be accountable and a consistent self- starter, with the ability to generate and execute on strategic sales plans to win new business across a multi-state territory. What you'll do:
  • Develop a strong understanding of target buying personas, solution offering, and competitive landscape.
  • Prospect, identify, and qualify new opportunities.
  • Build and maintain healthy pipeline.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell to multiple buyers within an organization.
  • Develop and manage a sales forecast & pipeline in order to exceed annual quotas and goals.
  • Actively manage daily responsibilities to develop one’s territory such as cold calls, appointments, sales presentations, and proposals while demonstrating excellent time management skills.
Who you are:
  • A self-starter with executive presence who has 5+ years of quota carrying software sales experience, preferably in the State and Local Government marketplace.
  • A proven track record of growing sales territories by developing and executing on a strategic sales plan. This includes direct sales initiatives as well as collaboration with channel partners and internal resources.
  • Someone who has managed a full sales desk, including prospecting, discovery, pricing, quoting, negotiating, and closing the deal.
  • A seller with experience selling into various customer profiles including 911, Emergency Management, Public Safety, County/City Executive Offices and K-12.
