PURPOSE OF ROLE:
Responsible for overseeing a wide variety of warehouse activities including shipping & receiving of materials and assisting maintain accurate inventory and associated records. Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. Work in collaboration with other managers and team members to ensure we achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and maintain processes, housekeeping, and safety requirements. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the floor day to day operations in the warehouse.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
•Collaborate with Warehouse Manager to ensure all daily goals and safety requirements are met.
•Collaborate with office teams to ensure all loads meet appointment, labeling, and documentation requirements.
•Proactively plan the day to achieve the highest level of productivity and efficiency by reporting to work prior to the start of the warehouse shift.
•Collaborate with the Inventory Supervisor to ensure all inventory data is recorded accurately.
•Plan and assign daily workloads and follow up accordingly.
•Perform monthly audits as assigned by Quality.
•Ensure RBT's equipment is properly maintained and all relevant documentation such as inspection report are being turned in.
•Follow up on assigned KPI's and ensure expectations are being met.
•Address performance issues and resolve problems with team members respectfully.
•Understand and problem solve day-to-day operations in the warehouse department (shipping schedule, re-packs, cut-offs, hot items, hot request, etc.)
•Manage and coach the Warehouse team on adapting to a versatile environment.
•Communicate and collaborate with all team members.
•Train, guide and evaluate the team and report back to the Warehouse Manager.
•Ensure all team members' documentation is completed accurately.
•Enter any required data point in handheld device(s).
•Follow work instructions and safety policies.
•Ensure teams participation in physical/cycle counts.
•Execute assignments in an accurate, timely, and safe manner.
•Identify damages, and report overages/shortages or quality deficiencies.
•Assist Warehouse Manager with performance evaluations within department.
•Commit to OCS Blue & OSHA Safety Facility Standard
•Accept, implement, and promote the RBT culture.
•Perform any additional tasks given by Warehouse Manager.
KNOWLEDGE / QUALIFICATONS / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
•Minimum 2 years of experience in supervisory role.
•Knowledge of warehouse equipment
•Excellent interpersonal skills.
•Knowledge of proper PPE requirements.
•Functional knowledge of a warehouse environment
•Good math, language, and reading skills.
•Problem Solver
•Have a sense of urgency.
•Considerate and respectful to all team members
•Be able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
•Ability to be flexible with the work schedule.
•Basic computer skills required.
•Team player

- Climb on and off equipment repeatedly
