Director of Custodial Services
Manage government and commercial custodial work to meet or exceed client requirements and expectations, achieve financial goals to support RGI’s mission.
Responsible for scheduling and supervision of custodial contracts; Government AbilityOne and Commercial
Develops standards for the purchase of custodial supplies and equipment. Responsible of management of all custodial inventory.
Develops work schedules and coordinates workloads for custodians for the purpose of ensuring efficient services.
Oversee all projects with respect to customers, vendors and billing.
Assure compliance with all provisions of contract(s) as well as all policies and procedures.
Prepare all reports, documentation, and project schedules as requested/required.
Works cooperatively with administration, other staff and custodial staff in evaluating site needs, developing custodial cleaning schedules for the purpose of providing efficient services.
Responsible for hiring, onboarding and training of new staff.
Meets with supervisors and clients to review and discuss custodial performance, problem areas and identify means of improvements.
Establishes long and short-range goals for the department.
Works in tandem with Client Account Manager for prospective clientele.
Responsible for following and enforcing all safety procedures.
Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of business management within the custodial industry.
Military experience is a plus.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays depending upon client’s requirements.
Must be able to pass an in-depth background check to meet client’s requirements.
Must be able to pass drug screen.
Strong understanding of operating a business, financials, and P&L statements.
Knowledge of RFPs, contracts, and pricing.
Efficient in MS Office programs.
Valid Virginia driver’s license with driving record that is acceptable to company insurance carrier.
