Our client, Cepton is a 3 year- old startup developing 3D sensors including LiDAR for automotive and other applications. They have received several rounds of VC funding and are currently shipping product.
They are seeking a Sr. EE Hardware Engineer who has experience with mixed signal circuitry design with high speed ADC, FPGA’s, memory, high speed LVDS and MPU devices. You will be responsible for the design starting with concept and architecture followed by schematic design and layout through fabrication and assembly with coordination/kitting with assembly house, through final test and integration.
Experience is required with CAD tools for schematic and layout, preferably OrCad/Allegro and designing the circuitry with an emphasis on analog design. Initial board bring-up and performance verification as well as debug skills are also required. You must be proficient in using all necessary Test & Measurement tools and techniques at or above 1 GHz. Additional experience with F/W, Ethernet, I2C communication is a plus.
