Administrative Assistant
job summary:
Role: Inventory Coordinator
Business Function: Medical Segment

'Contract' or 'Temp to Perm': Contract
Work Location: 500 Neelytown Road Montgomery, NY
Target Start Date: ASAP
Estimated Duration: 6 months, possibly temp-perm (no guarantee)
Travel Requirements: N/A
Total Weekly Hours: 40

Accountabilities in this role:
  • Responsible for expediting inventory to maintain Service Level and DIOH (Days inventory on hand)
  • Perform root cause analysis for inventory stock outs
  • Expedite freight into the warehouse to maintain healthy stock levels, expedite/track/create Purchase Orders, Pipeline accuracy
  • Time sensitive reporting of data
  • Generate, export, analyze and maintain Microsoft Excel spreadsheets to track various inventory statistics
  • Interfaces with sales reps, customer service, trucking companies/carriers and other company distribution center personnel (receiving, shipping, putaway, stocking, returns, etc.)
Qualifications:
  • Ability to analyze data and determine proper corrective action
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Must be detailed oriented, self- motivated
  • Proficient in Microsoft office, with strong Excel and Outlook email skills
  • Team oriented and also needs to be able to work independently
  • Reliable daily and work limited overtime as needed
