Randstad has a client in the Phoenix area looking for 4 Patient Advocates!
The Patient Advocate will aid members, patients and providers with balance bills, appeals and a variety of questions. In addition they will coordinate the handling of numerous daily, time sensitive functions required to maintain an effective workflow.
-Maintain HIPAA guidelines to ensure confidentiality
-Prepare and file correspondence regarding challenges
-Assist and support members with questions and dispute process
-Respond to incoming correspondence received via email, fax, mail and phone
-Maintain contact with facilities, professionals and debt collectors to assist with the resolution
-Accurate and complete documentation of daily interactions
-Escalate advocacy or other complaints per written guidelines
-Update all members / patients with an open advocacy matter within allocated time-frame
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

-Attention to Detail
-Excellent Written and Verbal Communication
-Problem Solving Skills
-Minimum 2 years of experience in the Healthcare Industry with Patient Advocacy, Customer Service and/or Claims Experience
-Must have experience in handling multi-line telecommunication system and electronic software
-Preferred Medical Billing and Medical Coding experience
-Bilingual preferred but not required
