HR Payroll Coordinator

Direct Hire opportunity for an HR Payroll Coordinator that will be responsible for processing payroll, monitoring employee attendance, payroll compliance and employee relations. This role will also assist with customer contract compliance review, and occasionally recruiting & onboarding of new employees.
o Timecard review
o Organize and finalize payroll with all adjustments daily/weekly
o Import hours into payroll system from time clock and calculate hours
o Produce paychecks
o Verify prevailing rates
o Monthly and weekly payroll reporting
o Attendance tracking
o Produce disciplinary Letters
o Update wage rates as needed
o Perform contract administration functions, up to the point of signature to
include contract and agreements, contract administration and contract closeout.
o Review new contracts to assure all necessary clauses have been included.
o Monitors contractor performance for compliance with applicable laws, contract
data reporting requirements, and other contractual requirements.
Recruiting and Onboarding
o Assist with phone interviews as needed
o Oversee and finalize orientation and new hire paperwork
o Input new hire information into HRIS
o Process new hire through E-Verify
o Be available for employee questions and issues
o Communicate issues to management
o Educate employees on company policies as needed
Qualifications and Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Attention to detail is a must
