Randstad is seeking customer service professionals to fill several Payment Plan Representative positions for our client, a Fortune 50 insurance and financial services company in Birmingham,AL.

This is a Direct Hire opportunity! Positions starting in Februray 2020

Responsibilities:

--Provide knowledgeable support to both internal and external customers by servicing the company's billing and payment plans.
--Assist customers to resolve errors and issues relative to bills, invoices, and payments.
--Answer incoming calls throughout the day.
--Perform back-office and administrative duties such as error code research and resolution, depending upon the needs of the department.

Working hours: 7:45 AM - 7:15 PM

--Solid analytical, critical thinking and research skills are needed in order to problem solve and meet customer expectations
--Support Flexible billing options program
--Respond both orally and in writing to inquiries from policyholders, Agency force, general departments, regulatory departments, mortgage companies, banks, claim representatives, and department employees
--Provide exceptional customer service and build positive relationships with both internal and external customers.
--Perform account maintenance for accounts
--Navigate and use multiple computer applications simultaneously to respond to internal/external customer inquiries.
--Apply process guidelines and use independent judgment, reasoning, and critical thinking to make decisions.
--Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
--Ability to problem solve using basic math calculations
--Previous customer service experience a plus
--Must be able to work in a fast-paced, heavy workload, and multi-task environment.
--Motivated to meet goals and metrics
--Reliable, dependable, and ready to start a career

--High School Diploma or equivalent required
--Must have open availability to be able to work within the hours of operation: Monday-Friday, 7:45am to 7:15pm. Work hours and days of operation are subject to change as needed to sustain high levels of customer service. May be required to work irregular or non-standard hours.
--Hours for training will be Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 4:15 PM
--All employees hired will have a 24-month incumbency period (beginning on the effective date of hire/transfer) which must be met before the employee can post for any other internal position.
Exceptions to this incumbency period may be considered for promotional opportunities and will be considered on an individual basis, consistent with business needs and management approval

--The position is subject to Telephone Monitoring and Recording for quality assurance and training purposes
--Must be able to pass a background check and drug test


Location: Birmingham, AL
Pay Rate: $15.50 hrly
Start Date: January 27, 2020
