Established and exciting Engineering firm is seeking a Senior Engineer to join their Oakland team. This role will be working with the water team for flood studies, flood and water control, water modeling and pump station design. The Senior Engineer will take on project management duties, reviewing and managing project status, defining scopes, developing schedules and budgets. The ideal candidate must have 9+ years experience working with Water Planning in similar environments, experience in pump station design, flood control modeling and water modeling. Technical knowledge of AutoCad, GIS, WaterCad and Esri software systems highly preferred.

The Senior Engineer will be overseeing all high level design and engineering efforts; assisting with design engineering and analysis plans for projects, analyzing and reviewing proposed changes for project analysis, communicating and documenting any client communication and design changes This role will take on the project management duties for all water focused projects; conducting and analyzing Flood Control Modeling, Water Modeling and Impact studies.
- PE Licensed in California required
- Strong understanding of design tools: AutoCad, WaterCAD, GIS or Esri
- Strong understanding of water modeling and flood studies
- Preferred experience in the following: Water Modeling, Flood Control, Pump Station Design, Pump Stations, Flood Studies, Flood Planning and Flood Control Modeling.
