Exciting tech company seeking a Hardware Engineer to join their AR/VR Platform Hardware team. This role will be overseeing architecture of internal EDA platforms for creating highly performant and low power hardware acceleration, in addition, this role will be profiling and optimizing toolsets. The ideal candidate has experience in Structured software, EDA, software development and C++.

work hours: 8am to 5pm
Help in driving definition and architecture of internal EDA platform for creating highly performant and extremely low power hardware acceleration. Collaborate within a cross-functional team in order to define and refine toolset. Work closely with hardware architecture, algorithm expert, hardware designer, and small PD team. Capable of synthesizing novel solutions using prior EDA development experience and tool specifications. Profile and optimize toolset into highly performant and scalable internal product.
BSEE, BSCS, BSCE or equivelent
Minimum 4 years of industry experience in software development related to hardware tooling and methodology
Considerably experienced in OOP, specifically targeted at EDA
Some understanding of computer architecture, hardware design, PD flow
Experience optimzing software for HPC servers with many cores, threads
Experience with load-balancing concepts and optimization
Strong interpersonal skills, able to solve technical conflicts constructively
Strong working knowledge of the following: Structured Software, Optimization, EDA, Software Development and C++
OOP, Hardware Design, Architecture, Tooling,k Algorithm, High Performance Computing and Python
