Company Description Job Description Air Compliance Managing Consultant Albany, Syracuse, or Rochester, NY Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. We are currently looking for a highly-motivated and energetic Air Compliance Managing Consultant to service the air permitting and compliance needs of our industrial and institutional clients. The ideal candidate will possess the technical skills required to lead and execute complex air compliance projects, the business development skills to develop new clients and project opportunities, and the interpersonal and communication skills to enhance existing client and regulator relationships.

Essential job functions include: * Air permitting and compliance assistance experience * Maintain regular contact with clients and develop proposals for environmental compliance related work * Experience to conduct air permitting/compliance regulatory reviews * Responsible for the preparation of plans, reports, permit applications and other project documents; lead technical evaluations of data commensurate with experience * Manage the technical, schedule and budgetary elements of projects * Use prescribed and established methods to perform specific environmental engineering and scientific assignments * Provide regular and consistent communications to clients, regulators and project staff on key issues and developments * Gain and share knowledge through participation in technical societies and/or attendance at internal and external programs, to a degree consistent with individual and divisional goals * Be a leader in Ramboll's safety culture, ensuring that our employees work safely * Engage with other senior practitioners within Ramboll to advance our brands (energy, water, environment and health) and standing with external stakeholders Skills & Qualifications * B.S. in Environmental Engineering or Chemical Engineering, minimally, with an Environmental Consultant background. * 10+ years of experience, with at least the last 5 years in the environmental consulting field, particularly in a seller/doer role. * Ideal candidate has prior experience in air permitting and compliance, etc. Other environmental compliance experience also considered. * Highly motivated, team-oriented individual to work in a fast-paced environment, with the desire and skills to provide client, project and staff management functions. * Excellent written/verbal communication skills are required. * Occasional travel (10-20%), as required. Salary Transparency Statement At Ramboll, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package.

At the time of this posting, this role is likely to be compensated at an annual base salary between $105,882 and $132,278. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range, depending on numerous factors, including experience, geographical location, internal equity, market conditions, education/training and skill level, and does not include bonuses, overtime, or other forms of compensation or benefits.
