Veterinary Assistant - Small Animal & Exotic Pet Hospital

Radnor Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Full-Time Veterinary Assistant to join our healthcare team! Our hospital sees dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, other exotic pets and even wildlife! We recently added not only another doctor to our schedule, but we now have a CT Scanner in house! We are excited to find the right person to support our 6 doctors and 4 technicians in daily pet care. Your experience ideally includes: Surgical patient monitoring Greeting clients and discussing pet issues Taking animal temperatures, collecting urine and fecal samples Preparing vaccines for doctors Being knowledgeable about flea, tick, and heartworm products Assisting technicians and doctors with nail trimming, ear flushing, vaccine boosters, injections, suture removals, blood draws, and other treatment tasks Filling prescriptions Feeding and cleaning up after all hospitalized animals Laundry Cleaning and restocking of hospital areas Ideal candidates have at least one year of experience in the veterinary field with a desire to grow and learn new skills.
