Job Description

Radiant Global Logistics is looking for an International Operations Agent to facilitate the movement of products/equipment/materials out of the country, via ocean or air freight, in accordance with organizational policy and procedure, and to comply with relevant local, country and international law and process. To provide customer service to exporting customers: bookings, rates, document production, accounting, agent interaction, and problem solving. .

General Accountabilities

  • Answering telephone properly and timely.
  • Providing general customer service.
  • Data entry of shipments.
  • Tracking and tracing of shipments.
  • Understanding TSA regulations that apply to the position.
  • Ensuring company compliance is followed.

Specific Accountabilities

  • Prepare/coordinate the necessary documentation for the efficient, cost-effective and lawful execution of all export activities.
  • Coordinate cargo pick up/transfer. Monitor status.
  • Understanding and ensuring the Points of Data Entry are followed for House Air Waybill & Master Air Way Bill.
  • Entering Proof of Delivery
  • Confirmation of all delivery charges based on agents’ tariff.
  • Breakdown of the charges are necessary to ensure correct billing and payment to the vendors.
  • Ensuring rate quotes are done in a timely manner
  • Routing and cutting Master Air Way Bills, including booking and flight information for daily pick-ups to ensure proper service is met.
  • Applying basic problem solving procedures on a daily basis.
  • File AES when applicable thru ACE program
  • Knowing and understanding the points of Data Entering a House Air Waybill & Master Air Way Bill.
  • Open export files
  • Assist Sales, Department Manager and Colleagues in compiling quotes by providing rates, tariffs, etc.
  • Assure that file contains all necessary documents as set by company standards and filed promptly in appropriate location.
  • Other duties as requested.

Education and Industry Knowledge

  • High school diploma.
  • 2+ years of industry experience
  • Knowledge of geography is an asset.
  • Experience in Transportation or Logistics industry is an asset.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of Transportation Management Software (is an asset).
